University of Hawaii has recently posted an announcement on the Work at UH web page stating the job availability and details for the unfilled position of UH Director of Athletics. The former Athletic Director, Herman Frazier, was fired on January 8, 2008.
Weighty UH Athletic Director Responsibilities
Part of the responsibility of being the UH Athletic Director is managing the $26 million a year budget for the athletics program, and ‘directing the long-range planning and implementation strategies of the department.’
Doesn’t that sound like a full plate of responsibilities?
