Wet & Rainy On Oahu | 5 inches of Rain

Just a quick update on the Local Oahu, Hawaii Weather:

Oahu is currently being struck with thunderstorms and very wet & rainy weather this night of Wednesday February 06, 2008.

The island has seen rainfall as much as 5 inches per hour in the Wahiawa area.

The Nu’uanu area received an estimated 3.5 inches of rain making driving conditions potentially hazardous. In addition, the weather has caused a manhole to overflow with water.

Drivers are warned to exercise cautiousness while on the road during extreme rainy conditions such as those being experienced currently.
